Job summary

Episcopal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Nurse Manager to provide dual clinical and administrative leadership across primary care and multi-specialty clinics in New York.

You will oversee patient care, staff development, patient experience, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance, collaborating with Ambulatory operations and senior leadership to align clinical excellence with operations. You will direct staffing, onboarding, EMR training, policy implementation, and performance metrics,

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration strongly preferred.
• Current, unrestricted NYS RN license.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in leadership/management.
• Minimum 2 years practice management, with 1 year in multi-physician outpatient settings.
• Experience in revenue cycle, budgeting, productivity benchmarks, and resource optimization.
• Strong knowledge of ambulatory regulatory standards and accreditation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHRs) and healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and workflows for compliance and efficiency.
• Direct daily operations: staffing, room utilization, workflow optimization, supply chain.
• Oversee onboarding and EMR training for new clinical staff.
• Collaborate with Ambulatory Medical Director on onboarding, EMR usage, and productivity tracking.
• Lead quality and patient safety initiatives and track compliance.
• Facilitate daily huddles, staff meetings, and multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Analyze clinic performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Maintain budget accountability and vendor contracts with Ambulatory ops.
• Partner with Marketing to promote services and community outreach.
