Qualifikationen

• BSN required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration strongly preferred.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership/management role, preferably outpatient or multi-specialty clinics.
• Minimum of 2 years practice management experience, with at least 1 year in a multi-physician practice.
• Demonstrated experience in operational management, revenue cycle operations, budgeting, and resource optimization.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, accreditation processes, and ambulatory care best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare technology platforms.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical and operational leadership to ensure delivery of safe, high-quality care in primary care or multi-specialty clinics.
• Develop, implement, and monitor clinic and administrative policies, procedures, and workflows to support regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Direct daily clinical and administrative operations, including staffing schedules, room utilization, workflow optimization, and supply chain coordination.
• Ensure onboarding and orientation of new clinical hires, including EMR training and role-specific workflows.
• Collaborate with Ambulatory Medical Director on onboarding, EMR usage, productivity tracking, and escalation pathways.
• Lead quality and patient safety initiatives; track compliance with evidence-based protocols.
• Organize daily huddles, monthly staff meetings, and multidisciplinary case conferences; document actions.
• Review clinic performance metrics and drive improvements in patient volume, productivity, wait times, and related KPIs.
• Maintain budget accountability; monitor expenses and vendor contracts; control supply inventory; profit-loss targets.
• Partner with Marketing to promote service lines and physicians through events and outreach.
• Serve as first-line responder to patient complaints and service recovery efforts.
• Oversee regulatory readiness including Joint Commission, DOH, OSHA, HIPAA; prepare for inspections.
• Maintain clinical competency matrix; track licensure, certifications, and trainings.
• Support system-wide initiatives and communicate workflow changes across clinics.
• Ensure coverage during provider or staff absences and resolve real-time issues.
• Foster a patient-centered culture and collaboration with IT, Facilities, Compliance, and HR.
• Drive continuous improvement via plan-pilot-review cycles.
• Identify staffing/operational adjustments to meet department goals.
