Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Certification in Basic CPR.
• Minimum of one year experience in ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments via phone or in person.
• Lead and coordinate patient education for the unit population.
• Document nursing assessments clearly in the medical record and maintain confidentiality.
• Triage and prioritize incoming calls using clinical assessment skills.
• Provide nursing interventions including phlebotomy and medication administration.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and Medical Assistants per Illinois law and protocols.
