Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for an ambulatory, in-person role. You will provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN, participate in care planning, and collaborate with the health care team to meet patient needs.

The position requires a Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and current LPN license. Expected schedule is days, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, with no weekends or on-call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
• One year of LPN experience required.
• Two years of LPN experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• The LPN provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the RN or other supervisor and accepts delegation to meet patient/family needs.
• Participates as a member of the health care team and executes care plans in accordance with patient care policies.
