Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill and Durham, NC, seeks a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner (CPP) for the Nephrology Clinic within the UNC Hospitals Pharmacy Ambulatory Clinical Services. The CPP will provide advanced clinical support to nephrologists, integrate with nurses and staff, and manage CKD and related therapies in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

Completion of PGY2 specialty residency preferred.
3-5 years ambulatory care experience preferred.
Board certification in Ambulatory Care or Pharmacotherapy preferred.
Licensed Pharmacist in NC prior to start.
Active involvement in teaching/mentorship for students and residents.

Responsibilities

Builds a clinical practice collaborating with physicians and providers to care for clinic patients.
Educates UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy students and UNC Medical Center residents on rotations.
Leads quality improvement initiatives within the clinic/department.
Develops programs and lectures; participates in community outreach and scholarly activities.
