Advocate Medical Group (AMG) in Chicago is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to support the care team with vital clinical and administrative tasks. You will work 40 hours per week, with a schedule that may include late nights and one Saturday per month, and earn an hourly wage in a defined range.

The role requires a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience, strong patient-service skills, and phlebotomy capability.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or 2 years of verifiable full-time MA experience.
• Demonstrated customer service skills to interface with physicians, patients, and staff.
• Knowledge and experience in phlebotomy or related laboratory function.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Perform Venipuncture and collect specimens from patients.
• Label specimens properly and prepare for exams.
• Assist providers during procedures and verify test requests.
• Document care in the electronic health record accurately.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
