Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago, IL is hiring Medical Assistants to support the care team at AMG Southeast (2301 E 93rd St). The role requires 40 hours weekly with one to two late evenings until 7 PM and 1–2 Saturdays per month (8:30 AM–12:30 PM). A high school diploma or GED and MA training/experience are required.

Phlebotomy skills are preferred. Compensation includes the full Advocate Health benefits package; the position emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and adherence to safety

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
