UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care in the ambulatory setting, recognizing normal and abnormal signs and assisting during emergencies.

You will perform basic administrative, clerical and technical supportive services, support the Primary and Specialty offices, and work in a cooperative, patient‑centered environment. Salary range is $31.24 - $41.22 hourly.

Qualifications

• Medical assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited program.
• National certification for medical assistants (CMA/NCCT/AMT) preferred.
• Experience with basic injections, venipuncture and related procedures.
• Familiarity with CPR and patient safety standards.
• Ability to use computerized patient care systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care in ambulatory settings and recognize signs/symptoms.
• Perform basic administrative, clerical and technical supportive services.
• Support the Primary and Specialty office and coordinate care.
