Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited school.
• Documentation of national MA certification CMA/NCCT/AMT.
• Training including injections, venipuncture, and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections; 10 hours minimum.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to perform CPR and assist in emergencies.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in ambulatory settings and support during emergencies.
• Perform basic administrative, clerical and technical tasks as needed.
• Support the Primary and Specialty offices to ensure smooth patient flow.
