Job summary

Premier Blood and Cancer Center - AMC is seeking clinical staff to support physicians with patient care and procedures in a busy ambulatory setting. The role includes order entry, reporting, and clerical tasks, with extensive compatibility with EPIC EMR.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, completed Medical Assistant training or certification, and LPN licensure with CPT/ICD-10 familiarity. CPR training within 3 months is expected, ensuring top patient care standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate is required.
• Medical Assistant applicants must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and/or certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse applicants must have completed a practical nursing and pharmacology program and hold current state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care including order entry, reporting, and phone calls.
• Perform procedures as directed (venipuncture, injections, EKGs, etc.) and assist with surgeries as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain EPIC EMR documentation.
