Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited MA program.
• National certification for medical assistants (CMA/NCCT/AMT) or equivalent.
• Program completion with hands-on injections and skin tests (and venipuncture) under UCLA supervision, within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist under physician/nurse supervision in ambulatory care.
• Participate in patient care, recognize normal/abnormal signs, support during emergencies.
• Perform basic administrative, clerical and technical duties as allowed.
