Job summary

Talentify in an ambulatory clinic seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and staff. The MA will manage patient flow, greet patients, and assist with exams and procedures to deliver high‑quality care.

Responsibilities include obtaining vitals, preparing patients for visits, performing EKGs and spirometry, administering vaccines under supervision, and maintaining clean rooms and stocked supplies. Accurate EMR documentation and PHI protection are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited medical assistant program required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient flow to and from exam rooms; greets and escorts patients and families.
• Obtains purpose of visit, vital signs, and documents appropriately.
• Prepares patients for physical exams and assists with office procedures.
• Performs diagnostic tests such as EKGs and spirometry; collects specimens.
• Administers immunizations and injections under physician supervision.
• Cleans exam rooms after each patient visit; inventories and stocks supplies.
• Performs duties in compliance with federal and state regulations; handles PHI appropriately.
