Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in an ambulatory care medical office or equivalent
• CMA or RMA certification within 1 year
• CPR within 90 days
• Externship in medical/ambulatory setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with patient preparation and exams; supports team for patient flow and clerical tasks
• Performs clinical tasks including minor procedures and point-of-care testing as required
• Documents activities in EMR and conducts patient follow-up across care transitions
• Participates in team huddles and safety/quality initiatives
• Maintains infection control and regulatory standards; manages supplies and equipment
• Floats to multiple clinic sites as needed and supports scheduling and patient education
