Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and completion of Medical Assistant training or 1 year patient care MA experience.
• Maintains current BLS Provider certification (and listed MA certifications may be accepted).

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care under physician/APP supervision in ambulatory setting.
• Gathers patient data through interview and observation.
• Assists patients and families with examination preparation.
• Assists physician/APP during examinations and procedures.
• Documents data, treatments, and education per policies.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
