Aurora Medical Group (AMG) in Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to join the ambulatory care team. You will support providers, connect with patients, and help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, taking vital signs, documenting histories, assisting during exams, administering vaccines, performing lab tasks, and recording care in the electronic health record, collaborating with physicians and nurses to deliver

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must have a medical assistant diploma from an accredited institute or 2 years of verifiable medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of verifiable medical assistant experience, to qualify.
Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
