Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current certification in one of CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA or NRCMA.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• 0–2 years’ experience in a relevant role.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assures efficient patient flow through the site by escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, documenting reason for visit, and updating patient information.
• Assists practitioners with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and other procedures per protocol.
• Prepares exam rooms, disinfects and sterilizes equipment, maintains inventory, and supports office opening/closing procedures.
• Interacts with patients and care team to promote satisfaction and professional service.
• Performs delegated procedures appropriate to the specialty and supports related duties as assigned.
