Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our outpatient clinic team in Royal Oak. You will support clinical staff, manage patient flow, prepare exam rooms and perform routine technical tasks under supervision.

This full-time day-shift position offers a structured environment with training, safety, and a patient-centered approach. Candidates should have a High School diploma and Medical Assistant training or equivalent experience; BLS is required within 30 days.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or related healthcare experience (LPN/EMT/ER Tech/paramedic) within the last 7 years.
• Preferred 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting.
• BLS certification (AHA) within 30 days is required.
• BLS certification (ARC) within 30 days is required.

• Maintain patient flow by assisting and promoting delivery of health care.
• Perform technical procedures and clinically oriented activities within scope of practice.
• Assist management in achieving office efficiencies in accordance with policies/procedures to ensure efficient operations with a focus on supporting physicians, clinical staff and management to promote customer satisfaction.

Formazione

High School Diploma or equivalent

Medical Assistant training program or 6 months of healthcare experience (LPN/EMT/ER Tech/paramedic)

Preferred 1 year of relevant healthcare/physician practice experience
