Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant III to support primary care operations at the Royal Oak location. You will assist physicians, promote patient flow, handle front-office tasks, and cover other departments as needed while maintaining patient-centered care.

The role requires a completed MA program with rotation, and applicable certifications within defined timelines; LPN in Michigan upon hire is required. Excellent customer service is essential in this team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited MA program with clinical rotation.
• 1 year MA experience or CH MA internship plus 6 months MA experience.
• BLS within 30 days of hire (AHA or ARC).
• CMA/RMA/ARMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certifications within 90 days.
• LPN license in Michigan upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and manage primary care patient flow.
• Collaborate with clerical staff to optimize operations.
• Interact with outside facilities and insurers for patient care.
• Maintain updated competencies and participate in process improvements.
• Provide front office coverage as needed and support other departments.
• Deliver excellent customer service and support patient-centered care.
• Support designated new hire preceptor and care management activities.
