UC San Diego is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care support under supervision in a busy clinic. The role includes scheduling appointments, billing, environmental care, and supply management, with emphasis on medical terminology and proper body mechanics.

Due to community care clinic growth, the position will float to North County and other San Diego locations. Travel to multiple sites is required and candidates must be willing to travel.

Formación

• Knowledge of Medical terminology and scheduling systems.
• Certification as CMA or completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• BART or BLS certification at hire or within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient system screens.
• Handle accurate billing and environmental care tasks.
• Manage equipment/supplies and clean/disinfect environments.
