Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care clinics including Primary Care and Specialty clinics. The CMA Float provides clinical and clerical support across offices, reporting to the Outpatient Clinic Manager and enabling smooth patient flow.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited medical assisting program, and AMT/AAMA/NHA/NAHP certifications with current BLS.

• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and records information in the medical record.
• Measures vital signs and prepares exam rooms for examination.
