Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Two years' experience as a Medical Assistant is required if education is not met at time of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collect subjective and objective health data from patients and communicate to the provider.
• Assist in care for patients across the lifespan in preventative, health maintenance, and follow-up care.
• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Observe and report patient signs or symptoms and perform point-of-care testing.
