Job summary

The position may float to other sites within the system. You will contribute to patient prep, education, and care coordination while supporting the clinical team and ensuring efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to document accurately in the EMR and perform basic computer tasks.
• Vital signs measurement and clinical support under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department goals and adheres to policies, procedures, quality and safety standards.
• Assists providers with patient preparation, exams, and education; supports clinic flow.
• Screens patients for preventative care needs and coordinates with care transitions.
• Performs point-of-care testing and basic procedures as directed by the provider.
• Maintains infection prevention and environmental responsibilities and inventory.
• Provides telephone screening and triage per protocols.
• Floats to other sites within the system as needed.
