Job summary

The Medical Assistant (MA) at Sanford Health in Wisconsin Rapids provides vital support in the ambulatory care setting under licensed supervision. You will collect patient data, assist with examinations, and relay care instructions to patients and caregivers, contributing to the plan of care.

Work days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 6:30a–5:00p with Wednesdays off; 40 hours weekly. A competitive benefits package and potential sign-on bonus accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• National MA certification (CMA/CCMA/CMAC/NCMA or equivalent) preferred.
• BLS certification required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Observe and report patient signs or symptoms to the provider.
• Contribute data to the patient's plan of care under supervision.
