Job summary

UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to support ambulatory clinics on a per diem basis. You will travel to UCLA Health sites within the Central Coast Community practices, providing administrative and patient care support to a diverse population.

The schedule varies by assignments, with a minimum of 2 shifts (16 hours) per week and at least one full weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Active LVN license with Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Certification.
• Current BLS from AHA or Red Cross.
• Ability to take vital signs, administer medications, and obtain drug refills.
• Experience performing phlebotomy, 12-lead EKGs, CPR, injections within scope.
• Ability to travel to multiple UCLA Health community based practices with a variable schedule.
• Six months of LVN experience in a healthcare setting is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various ambulatory clinics to provide administrative and patient care support.
• Support diverse patient population with flexibility and proactive engagement.
• Provide availability at least one month in advance as a per diem LVN.
• Meet minimum of 2 shifts totaling 16 hours per week, including one full weekend per month.
