Job summary

UCLA Health's Ambulatory Float Team seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to support patients across 25+ specialties in multiple ambulatory clinics in the Los Angeles area. This role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and meaningful patient care.

As a Per Diem LVN, you will travel to UCLA Health community practices throughout Southern California, cover a variable schedule, and help with clinic operations while advancing clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold active CA LVN license with IV therapy and blood withdrawal.
• Active BLS/CPR certification required (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience with phlebotomy, injections and scope of practice.
• Ability to travel to multiple UCLA Health sites and work a variable schedule.
• Ability to take vital signs and administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and clinical support across multiple ambulatory clinics.
• Support clinic operations and coverage across practices based on staffing needs.
• Travel to UCLA Health ambulatory clinics throughout Southern California as required.
