Medical Center Health System in Odessa, TX seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to assist physicians and mid-level practitioners in delivering quality patient care. The role includes clerical tasks, waived testing and phlebotomy/venipuncture as cross-trained duties.

The LVN will work under supervision, handle diverse patient needs, and participate in a fast-paced ambulatory setting with potential weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LVN by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Six months minimum LVN experience; ambulatory setting preferred. Bilingual desirable but not required.
• Current BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of EKG and cardiac rhythms.
• Mental Health First Aid and suicide awareness training.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians and mid-level practitioners in delivering quality care as delegated.
• Cross-trained to assist in clerical tasks, waived testing and phlebotomy/venipuncture.
• Perform duties under supervision in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.
