Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
• LVN license in state of employment (Texas) or compact license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care duties under physician supervision, including routine tasks.
• Obtain vital signs, weigh patients, and collect specimens, including phlebotomy where site-specific.
• Assist provider with examinations, treatments, and patient flow in the clinic.
• Answer phones, relay messages, and assist with patient-related calls.
• Schedule tests, coordinate results, and assist with pre-certification processes.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Clean, restock exam rooms and maintain sterile technique; manage supplies.
• Perform routine clerical duties such as chart retrieval and forms completion.
• Attend required meetings and in-service trainings and perform additional duties as assigned.
