Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an LVN to provide care under physician supervision in a clinic setting in Texas. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, drawing specimens, and assisting with examinations and patient flow.

You will also handle phone calls, scheduling, documentation, medication refills, immunizations, and clerical tasks in a full-time role. Training and meetings are required.

Qualifications

• LVN license valid in Texas or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to perform basic patient care and phlebotomy as needed.

Responsibilities

• Under physician supervision, perform basic patient care duties like vital signs and specimen collection.
• Assist providers in examinations and treatment; help with patient flow in the clinic.
• Answer phone calls and record messages; coordinate patient-related communications.
• Schedule tests, review results, and coordinate pre-certifications.
• Document patient information accurately in charts and records.
• Assist with medication refills and administer meds/immunizations per orders.
• Clean and restock exam rooms; maintain sterile technique and supply inventory.
• Perform routine clerical duties such as chart retrieval and forms completion.
• Attend required meetings and in-service training; perform other duties as assigned.
