Job summary

BJC Medical Group in Cardiology, based in O'Fallon & St. Peter's, MO, seeks a full-time Staff LPN Ambulatory to provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include rooming patients, vitals, IV fluids, and point-of-care testing under physician supervision.

The role requires LPN with IV certification, a nursing background, and a strong commitment to patient safety. This is a no-call, no-weekends position with day shifts and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care under physician supervision.
• Obtain vitals, document patient history, and chart accurately.
• Administer medications and initiate/discontinue IV fluids as directed.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs and point-of-care testing.
• Follow HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA and infection prevention procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing services to ambulatory patients under supervision.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs and IV therapy as directed.
• Maintains accurate charting and patient records with correct terminology.
• Triages calls and communicates results to providers with precision.
