Job summary

Sanford Health in Sheldon, IA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our ambulatory nursing team. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician, you will provide quality, holistic care and act as the primary nurse within your scope of practice.

You will work in a clinic open 8am-8pm Mon-Thu, 8am-5pm Fri, and 8am-12pm Sat, with shifts offering a half or full day off during the week.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an unencumbered LPN license.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required in North Dakota per policy.
• Maintains current LPN license and required department competencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients.
• Documents a thorough medical history from patient and assesses patients.
• Contributes to the assessment and administers medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals and counsels patients and families.
