Job summary

UVA Health in Culpeper, VA is seeking an LPN for ambulatory clinics. The role splits between in-person clinical support at the Specialty Same-Day Care Clinic (SSDC) and the CPG Clinical Float Team, with remote support possible as needs allow.

You will provide direct patient care, education, and care plan reinforcement under the supervision of physicians or RNs, serving diverse pediatric and adult populations in primary, specialty, and pediatric clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Licensed to practice as an LPN in Virginia before onboarding.
• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection on patients' physical, psychological, social, and cultural dimensions.
• Organize and prioritize nursing care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implement age-appropriate interventions as directed.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and reinforce care plans.
• Ensure a safe environment and delivery of care.
• Support professional development of self and others.
• Demonstrate teamwork in patient care.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
