Mercy Home Health in Ohio is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support ambulatory/office care under physician direction. You will handle clinical and clerical duties, care for pediatric to geriatric patients, and collaborate with the Office Manager/Supervisor and RN.

Responsibilities include charting, medication administration, wound care, triage, and patient education. Occasional float to other offices may occur; CPR/BLS and Ohio LPN licensure are required.

Competenze

• Candidate must complete an approved LPN program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and Ohio LPN license are required.
• Two years of LPN experience in a physician office or ambulatory care setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, vendors, staff and insurers.
• Knowledge of standard office equipment and basic computer data entry is needed.
• Three to six months of on-the-job training may be required to learn office/policy procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks as daily office needs vary.

Mansioni

• Maintain accurate chart documentation and prepare charts for third-party reviews.
• Assist physician with procedures, minor surgeries and exams; maintain sterile technique.
• Administer oral, subcutaneous and IM medications as directed; perform PPD testing.
• May assist with IV therapy as delegated by physician/RN per state rules.
• Provide patient education on medications, wound care and dressing changes.
• Review daily schedule and follow up on missed appointments.
• Keep exam rooms stocked and equipment in good working order; support safety procedures.
• May float to other offices based on staffing needs.
