Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide care to pediatric and adult patients across Plastics, Gynecology, Thoracic, Breast, Endocrine, Bariatric, and Liver/Pancreas specialties. The LPN will work under the supervision of an RN, adhering to the patient care plan and contributing to team-based care.

Current LPN license and BLS are required, with the ability to work flexible day shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical nursing program or completed LPN boards.
• Current LPN license and BLS valid for 90 days post start.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to change.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to pediatric and adult patients across multiple specialties.
• Deliver nursing care under RN supervision and follow patient care plans.
• Support quality improvement projects and committees as needed.
• Mentor and instruct other staff as required.
