Albany Med Health System is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join our Internal Medicine academic practice as an ambulatory associate program director (APD) with 0.25 FTE allocated for educational leadership responsibilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a collaborative residency leadership team, integrating patient care with ambulatory medical education and scholarship.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Internal Medicine with academic medicine experience.
• Experience in ambulatory education and residency leadership.
• Commitment to resident and student education and continuity precepting.

Responsibilities

• Co-direct the internal medicine ambulatory curriculum.
• Participate in the clinical competency committee.
• Supervise, teach, and mentor residents during continuity clinics.
• Lead ambulatory education and scholarship initiatives.
