Albany Med Health System is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join our Internal Medicine academic practice as an ambulatory associate program director (APD) with 0.25 FTE allocated for educational leadership responsibilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a collaborative residency leadership team, integrating patient care with ambulatory medical education and scholarship.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Internal Medicine clinician-educator with ambulatory education experience.
• Commitment to resident and student education and evidence-based medicine.
• Experience in learner development and teaching primary care.

Responsibilities

• Co-direct the ambulatory curriculum and participate in the clinical competency committee.
• Continuity precepting and direct patient care for residents and students.
• Supervise, teach, and mentor residents during continuity clinics and ambulatory sessions.
