Albany Med Health System is seeking a dedicated and dynamic board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join our Internal Medicine academic practice as an ambulatory associate program director (APD) with 0.25 FTE for educational leadership responsibilities. This role offers a chance to collaborate with a residency leadership team, integrating patient care with ambulatory education and scholarship.

You will co-direct the ambulatory curriculum, supervise and mentor residents during continuity

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• Ambulatory education experience is required.
• Experience in learner development and teaching primary care.
• Strong commitment to resident and student education with continuity precepting and direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Co-direct the ambulatory curriculum and participate in the clinical competency committee.
• Supervise, teach, and mentor residents during continuity clinics.
• Collaborate with the residency leadership team to integrate patient care with education and scholarship.
• Balance clinical duties with educational leadership responsibilities (0.25 FTE).
