Job summary

Albany Med Health System is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join our academic practice as an ambulatory associate program director (APD) with 0.25 FTE for educational leadership. This position combines patient care with ambulatory medical education and scholarship.

You will be part of a collaborative residency leadership team, supervising and mentoring residents in continuity clinics while engaging with medical students and other trainees.

Qualifications

• Board-certified internal medicine clinician-educator
• Experience in ambulatory education
• Responsibilities in continuity precepting and direct patient care

Responsibilities

• Co-direct the ambulatory curriculum and participate in the clinical competency committee
• Supervise, teach, and mentor residents during continuity clinics
• Engage with medical students, physician assistant and pharmacy students
