Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an infusion/IV therapy nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care from admission to discharge. You will coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver theory-based, patient-centered care and ensure safety and quality throughout the patient experience.

Responsibilities include autonomous nursing care using the nursing process, collaboration with families, and timely communication of clinical concerns.

Qualifications

• RN license in-state or compact required.
• CPR/BLS required.
• ONS/ONCC chemo/biotherapy certification within 90 days when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care from admission through discharge.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Ensure safety and adherence to policies and quality standards.
• Advocate for patient and family and communicate care plans.
• Lead discharge planning and patient teaching as appropriate.
