Job summary

You will lead care planning, educate patients and families, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed while adhering to legal nursing standards and organizational values.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program (required).
• BSN preferred; if associate, enroll in BSN within 12 months and complete within 4 years.
• 1-2 years RN experience required.
• Current RN license in state, CPR (BLS) required, Chemo/Biotherapy certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from admission to discharge.
• Contribute to department goals, adhere to policies, and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Advocate for patients and families and communicate clinical concerns to the team in a timely manner.
• Identify and address patient needs, monitor progress, and revise nursing interventions as appropriate.
• Provide education to patients and families, ensuring understanding of care plans and discharge planning.
• Lead within scope of practice and participate in quality and service improvement initiatives.
