Formación

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• BSN from accredited program preferred; if ADN, enroll in BSN within 12 months and complete within 4 years.

Responsabilidades

• Assess plans, implement and evaluate nursing care from admission through discharge.
• Collaborate with patient and family; coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Adhere to department policies, quality and safety standards and MedStar SPIRIT Values.
• Identify current and potential problems; plan appropriate interventions.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice and research into patient care.
• Advocate for patients; communicate concerns to the team in a timely manner.
• Maintain safe environment and effective discharge planning with the team.
• Lead and delegate tasks; use effective problem-solving and chain of command.
• Monitor patient status and revise interventions as needed.
• Promote lifelong learning and professional growth.
• Participate in quality and service improvement initiatives.
