UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an Ambulatory RN for the Infectious Diseases Clinic. Work under supervision to provide nursing services in patient care and treatment settings.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved nursing program with ADN.
  • RN licensure required by TX Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • BLS certification required on hire.

Responsabilités

  • Deliver nursing interventions per the care plan and document responses.
  • Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures; reinforce physician instructions.
  • Provide patient education and document outcomes in the medical record.
  • Obtain necessary consents for research or treatment.
  • Triages phone inquiries and document actions in records.
  • Supervise licensed vocational nurses and support staff.
