Job summary

University of Rochester is seeking a dedicated patient care assistant to join the Imaging Sciences team in Brockport, NY. Under Nursing Leadership, you will assist providers during exams, manage equipment, and help ensure patient comfort and safety in outpatient clinics.

The role requires a High School diploma with 1 year of customer service experience; an Associate's degree is preferred. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 11:30am–8:00pm, with a 40-hour workweek and a pay range of $19.15–$25.85 per

• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and computer experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers during exams and supports patient care in outpatient clinics.
• Operates diagnostic and monitoring equipment as directed by the provider.
• Documents patient data and care provided into the electronic medical record system.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, ensuring patient safety and efficient room turnover.
