Job summary

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) seeks a Patient Service Rep I to support ambulatory float pool operations. You will help ensure smooth outpatient flow, coordinate appointments, and assist patients and families with scheduling, referrals, and registration.

The role requires 2 years in customer service, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work across CHLA clinics. Travel to offsite locations is expected.

• 2 years of experience in customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be highly flexible, adaptable, enthusiastic, have a proactive approach, work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments and assist patients and families as needed.
• Assist in daily clinic preparation including message distribution and referrals management.
• Register encounters and support providers with scheduling and workflow.
• Travel to CHLA clinics (including offsite) as needed to cover float pool assignments.
