Job summary

UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Ambulatory Safety Program Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight for EHS programs across ambulatory care. You will partner with ambulatory leadership to identify risks, develop safety initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

You will lead ambulatory EHS specialists, coordinate safety operations across a diverse clinic network, and translate organizational safety requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Health & Safety, Engineering, Public Health, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of environmental health and safety principles in healthcare.
• Experience analyzing safety data and identifying systemic risks.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for environmental health and safety programs across ambulatory care.
• Serve as the primary EHS contact for ambulatory operations and partner with clinical leadership to identify risks and implement safety initiatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary safety initiatives and translate safety requirements into practical ambulatory processes.
• Demonstrate independent judgment, program ownership, and stakeholder management across a distributed clinic environment.
