Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Internal Medicine Residency Program at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is seeking an Associate Program Director focused on ambulatory education. Open to Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology or other internal medicine subspecialties; you will shape outpatient curriculum, mentor residents, and drive ACGME accreditation while maintaining your own clinical practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program.
• American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certification.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Medical subspecialty.
• Eligible for Maryland medical licensure, CDS, and DEA registration.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead ambulatory education strategy, including clinic rotations and curriculum design.
• Partner with the Program Director to ensure ACGME compliance and advance residency program goals.
• Guide resident recruitment, mentorship, evaluation, coaching, and academic advising.
• Drive quality improvement and educational innovation within ambulatory curriculum.
• Monitor resident performance through competency-based assessments.
• Maintain outpatient clinical panel and inpatient consultative work alongside APD responsibilities.
