Job summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will serve as a key member of the patient care team in an ambulatory setting.

This position will work closely with providers across multiple specialties as well as with other clinical and administrative staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience that contributes to positive health outcomes for patients and a work culture in alignment with our values of Service-Oriented, Trust, Empathy, Safety, Inclusion, and Communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with CMA certification.
• Current BCLS/AED certification required.
• Experience in ambulatory/outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for visits, including rooming and vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing; manage specimens.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures; enter orders in Epic.
