Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time nursing professional to support the Ambulatory Resource Center in Grand Rapids. You will provide nursing care to patients under supervision, assist providers, and participate in teaching patients and families.

Under general supervision, you will work 8-hour days at the Butterworth Hospital site and may travel to different ambulatory practices within West Michigan as needed.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program.
• 1 year of relevant experience working in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients under direct supervision of the RN/provider.
• Implements nursing care procedures and evaluates patient progress.
• Assists in modification of care plans as necessary.
• Provides teaching to patients and their families.
