Qualifications

• Immunization Certification and BLS Certification within 6 months where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Applies pharmacotherapeutic and pharmacokinetic principles to ensure safe use of medications.
• Reviews orders to determine therapeutic adequacy and discusses interventions with prescribers.
• Oversees and reviews work of technicians, interns, and support staff.
• Provides education on medications to patients and families; participates in training of staff.
