Job summary

Intermountain Health's Heights Clinic in Billings, MT is seeking a leader to manage ambulatory care operations, focusing on patient-centered care, service excellence, quality, and financial stewardship. You will oversee daily staffing, scheduling, prior authorizations, referrals, and patient inquiries, while partnering with physician leaders to improve access, safety, and experience across the clinic.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance on site during scheduled hours.
• Two (2) years of supervisory-level experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for two years of the required experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field.
• Healthcare and/or Specialty Clinic experience (i.e., Cardiology, Neurology, etc.).

• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as required for identified positions.
• Ability to partner with front line teams and physicians to build and maintain a thriving clinic culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for ambulatory care operations, including customer service, HR, IS, patient care, quality, and financial management.
• Collaborate with hospital care sites and physician leadership to achieve goals.
• Address patient questions and concerns regarding care and billing.
• Oversee daily staffing, scheduling, and coverage; manage prior authorizations and referrals.
• Lead problem solving to improve patient safety and service; drive quality and performance initiatives.
• Manage HR functions: interviewing, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, policy development, Kronos records.
• Coordinate training of new employees and develop leaders within the team.
• Foster a culture of patient safety, compliance, and audits.
• Partner with physicians on panel management and population health records.
