Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an Ambulatory Clinic Nurse Supervisor for General Medicine on the Day shift. This full-time role reports to the Nursing Director and supports the Ambulatory clinic admin and clinical operations.

You will supervise staff, manage patient flow and triage, ensure compliance with standards of care, and promote a collaborative environment among physicians, nurses, and the health care team. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing required.
• 2+ years of RN experience.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Current active RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assists in supervisory planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling clinic activities.
• Ensure patient flow, triage and direct patient care.
• Maintain efficient day-to-day clinic operations and resource use.
• Foster collaboration with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team.
• Support hiring, education and evaluation of staff.
• Promote professionalism and continuing education for personnel.
